4 to 6: Trotting Transformation

A baby to a…well, still pretty much a baby. I love looking at all the little details and all the improvements, though – her new listening ears, her diminished underneck, my nicer seat and elbows, AND THAT TAIL. I should do a whole progress post on her tail.

We’re getting there!

Wordless Wednesday: Roach

Sooo pleased with how this turned out. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do, and I think it suits her personality well. It makes her neck look so much nicer, and she looks cleaner and more professional too!

Wordless Wednesday: Engagement Photos

The_Carrs_Photography_annye_zeke_engagement_0062

Robbye got to be one of our “props” for our engagement photos last summer. I was so pleased with the outcome that I wanted to share them here! The Carrs did both our engagement and wedding photography, and did an incredible job.

edit: I probably should have explained the robes/hoods. We bought Jedi and Sith robes off of Etsy and used them in our shoot. We may or may not be the dorkiest people alive.

TOABH: Worth 1k Words

ForBeka

Let’s share our favorite photos of our stud muffins.  No limit.
This will be fun; since for 99% of this blog’s life it was private, I haven’t gotten to really share any of my favorite photos! Let’s see if I can do this in moderation…

Possibly my all-time favorite photo of us. For some reason she saluted the judge with me all year that year.

Looking through my photos and seeing the fences in the “look what we jumped!” photos get bigger and bigger is very satisfying.

This was pre-reformed seat, I think. My leg would be so much more forward now.

Always wear a helmet! And boots. Especially when you’re on the road.

I was crying at this moment because I was so proud of her.

It’s not a photo of Robbye, except for that great butt, but it’s too great of a photo to leave out 🙂

2014 Photo Dump

(Sorry for some of the spacing and formatting issues. Photos and captions didn’t import over from Blogger very well!)

Clip from early 2014

Little brother riding!

Bareback and bridleless 2’6″!
Zeke and Paul grooming 🙂
When Robbye was recovering from her bout of lymphangitis this year I went on a couple of trail rides bareback.

Spent a week cold hosing and hand-walking…

The best selfie one can accomplish with such a big head!

Christmas Gifts and Misc Photos

So pleased with how my Christmas gifts for my barnmates came out this year!
Got creative with Rob’s second clip this year with a checkerboard…
And a candy cane!
She looks so big in this photo, even though I’m slightly uphill and closer to the camera.
Gorgeous. Can’t wait until we can get this without gadgets. Also – tri-color Rob!
I also made Rob a quarter sheet this year! Total spent – $10 and 3 hours.
Charllye helped.
